Jhin's trap wanted a triple-kill montage. It got a box.

Jhin’s trap does nothing until it’s stepped on, which means every trap he plants just sits there as a threat until someone clears it. A jack in the box thrown onto a visible trap detonates it on the spot, before a minion wave or an overextending ally ever finds it. That includes the traps that only carry the minor slow instead of the full explosion: those never get a chance to matter either, since the whole thing is gone before anything walks near it. Any trap you can see is a trap you can end before it’s live. Throw the box the second you spot one; the longer it sits armed, the more map control and lane pressure it’s quietly buying Jhin for free.
