Respect the Missile

Q held in reserve is the right instinct against most skillshots: wait for the cast, read the angle, jump the instant it’s committed. Mel’s isn’t most skillshots. The missile closes faster than that read can happen, and by the time reaction time turns into an actual dodge, it’s already arrived. This one’s short because the mistake was short: running, Q available, waiting for a cue that never gives enough runway to act on. The fix isn’t a faster reflex, nobody’s is that fast. It’s not holding the dodge in the first place. Against Mel specifically, Q gets thrown pre-emptively on the read that she has it up, not reactively on the cast.
